"Jammin' for Jesus"
Psalm 150:1-6
Praise the LORD.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD.
NIV

"Jammin' for Jesus!" now playing!
Music written and composed by
Paul and Christopher W. French
Paul French Paul began playing percussion at 8 years old. Standing on wooden boxes and crates to reach his conga's and drums, Paul studied hard and used his talents for the Lord. He performed in countless worship services and programs throughout his 8 years of learning experience under the guidance and direction of Robby Robinson, keyboard player and band director for Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

Jammin' for Jesus!
By Paul and Christopher W. French
This conga and drum solo was recorded just for fun after the completion of our album. We had never intended to add
this recording to our Journey To Bethlehem album, but when Paul had suggested it, (one week before CD duplication
and mastering) I agreed, and within the hour (including set-up and recording) it was complete! Paul insisted that we keep
it completely original and unedited, over 10 minutes in length and with all its imperfections and remarks in the
background (including comments at the end from his girlfriend, Amanda). I didn’t know how well it would be received at
first, but I trusted that God had put on Paul’s heart to include it. Now as we have found in time passing, people enjoy it
very much and have even purchased the album because of it. Needless to say, we are very proud and thankful to God to
have it as part of our album!
Paul was playing six Conga drums; including one Tumba, two Quinto’s and his LP Junior set. Paul also played 14 and 16
inch Timbales (with the Cow-Bell) various wooden blocks and cymbals. I was playing my Yamaha Oak Custom drum
kit with small LP Timbales attached to the cymbal stand. I also used soft mallets instead of sticks to keep from drowning-
out the hand drums. Completely unrehearsed and without direction, we just had fun, letting go, Jammin’ for Jesus, and
allowing the LORD to lead as we changed from one drum beat and tempo to another. It doesn’t matter what instrument
a person plays, if we do it unto the LORD, He enjoys listening, and we are also blessed! How wonderful it is to know
that we have such an AWESOME GOD, who loves to hear a joyful noise devoted to HIM! And I’m most certain there
will be drum solos in heaven too! Christopher W. French
